Fab, love every song on this album cant wait to hear more

I first heard this when it came out in 2006, thought it was good but forgot about them as i was mainly into heavier stuff at the time but when i heard they were bringing out a new album and supporting the mighty AC/DC on their world tour i thought i'd check the album out again and jesus wept, what a debut album this is! The band wear their influences proudly on their sleeves and throughout Rise you can hear elements of Free, Led Zeppelin, The Black Crowes, Whitesnake and yes, AC/DC. But The Answer aren't just some rip off band, they've used their influences well to create some great hard rock anthems with great tunes and vocals. Under The Sky starts the album off brilliantly(possibly one of my favourite rock songs ever!)and the pace rarely slackens throughout. With a new album out and supporting the biggest rock bands around as well as playing their own more intimate gigs, it won't be long until these Irish badboys are stars in their own right.

Being great rockers and being irish theres nothing better. Easily the best debut rock album in 10 years. Buy rise special edition as it has twice the songs 4 a couple of quid more. Great
