This Is War

At 4.99 this is a steal!!! Very good album. Even for non fans of 30 seconds to mars this is a great buy. I would say all tracks are pretty good and varied.

I have pretty much listened to this album every day since the day I got it (over a year now) and it never gets old. Its rare for me to find an album where I don't skip at least 2-3 songs when I listen to it, but this album really is incredible - every song is a masterpiece. Buy it now - you won't regret it!

This is truely dismal. Devoid of any identity or ideas, this is pure kiddy MTV rock. Avoid like the plague.

After being brought tickets to see their Feb 2010 show, I brought 30STM new album as I have been a fan from the beginning. I was very excited to hear about This Is War and after a week or so I knew most of the lyrics to pretty much all the songs. Kings of Queens was the first song I heard from the album so I knew this album was going to be a winner but I couldn't have been more wrong.

I have never heard something so inspiring and emotional in my life. Each song has its own story to tell. Kings & Queens, Closer to The Edge, Hurricane and This is War and just some of the songs I could listen to over and over again. I even had to buy a new copy as I played the album so much it was starting to skip.

I listen to this every day, once of my best buys! And I can't wait to see them again this Nov 2010.

I bought this album after hearing closer to the edge, and it's not been off my stereo since. After listening to this i have bought their other albums and am going to see them in Nov this year. The music is captivating and re-inspiring!!! Would definately recommend to everyone!

I've listened to Closer To The Edge 178 times and i still love it. The usage of 30STM's 'The Summit' (an event where they used their fans and members of the public in their thousands to record backing vocals in certain parts of their songs - this is the parts when it sounds like a choir's in the background) gives the songs a real dramatic edge and you can really imagine this music being played to the masses at concerts.

i am an aging rocker ..my son a new 1 but this album is the most imense assault on ure senses u could ever wish for .... loader the better ... just immerse youself in the adrenalin which is projected from jared and the guys .... u can hear the theatrical overtures hit you every being ..... BUY BUY BUY BUY BUy and pass on the vibe to all

I cannot recommend this CD strongly enough. Pure epic class from start to finish.Buy it, you won't regret it.
