One of the finest albums ever

This was the first Opeth album I heard, and I must say at the time I wasn't exactly sure what to think. Love Opeth or hate them, it's undeniable that they're talented musicans, and I appreciated this at first. But there seemed to be some kind of barrier.
Then I listened to it properly. For £5.99 you can't go wrong anyway but to truly appreciate this album make sure you do it alone with no distractions. That means NONE. Only when I did this did I appreciate why there is an accoustic interlude at point A, why it goes heavy at point B and so on.
For metal fans - and rock fans in general - who like a challenge, Blackwater Park is an essential addition to your collection. And for the casual listener, at the current price of £5.99, you will still get your money's worth.
A great buy
