The Platinum Collection is made up of the three Queen greatest hits CDs and therefore includes pretty much every hit single they've ever had.
Tracks like 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'We Will Rock You' sound just as original now as they did when they were first released and their late 80s early 90s work still holds up against the test of time incredibly well. It does go a little bit off the rails on Greatest Hits III, which is made up largely of the stuff they did after Mercury's death however that still isn't enough to detract from the listening experience.
Queen were well renowned for their live performances and listening to this album it's clear to see why they were so good live as nearly every one of the songs here has a killer chorus which was just made to be played in the stadiums.
If you don't already own Queen's Greatest hits albums then this is a must purchase.

What a trilogy. 1 and 2 are awesome and have every song that you could ever want from queen from the likes of Bohemien Rhapsody to the heavier stuff like Hammer to Fall and I Want It All. 3 is a little bit of a miss and seems like a bit of a cashing in job. Nice to hear fermilliar songs played a bit differently but only when its done well, and unfortunately besides Elton Johns cover of The Show Must Go On, none of them are. I still give it a 5 cos the first 2 albums more than make up for this but i must admit that 3 doesn't get listened to even 10% as much as the other 2.

 Gotta love it

Queen just have amazed me through the years of their reign. After Freddie's pass, there was grief and mourning. But Queen kept it going with this album, this is terrific. It tells the story of Queen going from a young 4-man rock band to a legendary 4-man and orchestra rock band.

Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, Brian May and John Deacon make making music look easy and look fun. They will inspire you all the way through this album. Queen's songs are just so powerful and devastating, their show-stopping charisma won't let anybody down.

Tracks like 'We Will Rock You', 'A Kind Of Magic' and 'Under Pressure' really define Queen as what they are. Each disc contains Rock's greatest hits and this dedicates the 70's, 80's and 90's Queen to a great man and a great band. This is the ultimate rock bargain.
