After hearing 'sticks n stones' and 'chaka demus', I had high hopes for the album. I love 'Kings and Queens' as much as 'Panic Prevention'. Jamie T is god!

Topping the first Album? Yea just about

Jamie has done music for 2009 a real favor with this album. Bar a few there hasn't been to much to shout about and this album has finally given me that privilege. The flow of this album is a lot smoother than his last so the placement of the tracks is well thought out. An important and sometimes overlooked step. the music has definitly matured but not so much it isn't still fun or exciting. It will hit you in the face and shock you with one track, sooth you with the next and inspire you with the other. Basically it works. This album does everything you want an album to do for you and more.

 must have!

a lot less light hearted that panic prevention, and shows how this artist has matured!

What a superb album. You really can't praise this guy highly enough for what he's doing for British music. A genuine legend in the making if you ask me. Right from the off this record just has you hooked unlike Panic Prevention which I loved but it did have a couple of tracks that I couldn't fully appreciate. '368' opens with a massively upbeat, raucous tune with loads of Jackson style "WOOOOO's" thrown in for good measure! And it never lets up from then. Literally each song is just so catchy it really does play like a Jamie T greatest hits. Even when the little scamp turns his hand to ballads with Emily's Heart and Jilly Armeen rather than being an embarrasing attempt at musical diversity he's actually created two of the finest songs on the album.

I could rave on about each track but I won't spoil the surprise. Stand out tracks for me are British Intelligence, Spiders Web, 368, Emily's Heart and Sticks n Stones.

Already gagging for the third album! This guy knows how to write real music. Catchy and interesting and also having spoken to him briefly at Glastonbury a couple of years ago I can say he's one of the nicest guys you could meet.

Well done Mr Treays!

The best thing to happen to music in 10 years!

After the 1st listen I didn't think this album was as good as Panic Prevention however having listened to it about 10 times now I can safely say it is. It's a more grown up sound with the addition of the pacemakers as backing and the lyrics are still genius. Look out for trackks like 368, Earth wind and Fire and Spidersweb (the new operation maybe?)
Do yourself a favour, buy it today!

Have been a fan of Jamie T for years now and have followed him around the scene for yers too he is a must see live, roll on Brixton Acadamy next month!! Loving the new album, all the extra tunes on his EPs are great too, as are all his B sides!!
Like people are saying a more mature sound but still his clever quirky lyrics, the bloke is a genius!!
Have to say i do miss his skits between records though as in Panic Prevention but never the less an awesome album!!
