It's amazing, my favourite album of the year. Quality runs through it, from the songs, the production, through to the brilliant artwork. The lyrics are amazing, "I will quickstep over the rooftops to get to your house" in the track Encouraging Sign perfectly encapsulates the euphoric feeling when you meet a soul mate - genius! It's like a breath of fresh air amongst the usual dire rubbish being released at the moment by so called 'big groups'. I've listened to the album quite a few times now and it gets better with every listen. It's like a greatest hits compilation, every track is a winner and you will grow to really love it. Do yourself a favour and get this album, you won't be disappointed.
All songs on this album are beautifully crafted and its hard to pick a favourite as all are great in thier own way. Fantastic follow-up album, looking forward to seeing them on tour in October.
Wow... what a great follow up album that many bands fail to achieve!! all the songs are great and deserve releasing all as singles! persona favorites include Barney Rubble, Encouraging Sign and Got No Interest. Saw them live back in 2007 and have just ordered more tickets to see them this October! cant wait!
Absolutely brilliant album its a must buy for everyone. The twang are so underated.
Been listening to their second album for the past few days and its excellent!! So happy that they are back at the V festivals this year, cant wait!!!
