I simply can't recommend this album enough!! I've never liked Slipknot, apart from the occassional track which is okay. Never liked Queens Of the Stone Age either. So I completely dismissed Stone Sour when I first recognised who was in the band. I'd keep hearing "Through Glass" on the Kerrang channel and the video was quite clever, but it didn't really register with me at first. Then I heard "30/30 150" and it peaked my interest. I took a chance and ordered the album as I had run out of other bands to buy. Little did I know that this album would spend 6 months in my car's cd player!! Album of the year for me.......can't think of any other bands or albums whom I've listened to that even come close. Simply stunning!! I'm now a very big fan! Buy it!!!

This is everything a rock album should be, and has everything it should have. Its a near perfect blend of thought-provoking lyrics, wicked beats and quality riffs. From the hard-hitting intro that is 30/30 150 through the savage Come What(ever) May and Made of Scars to the stirring and beautifully written Through Glass, finishing with the best ballad i've heard for the past 15 years in Zzyzx Rd. There are so many brilliant songs on this album, I cannot praise it enough, a must for any rock lovers collection.

This is an awesome album! It has a great mix of hard rock/metal, alongside the more acoustic songs like 'Through Glass'. Compared to the first self-titled album from Stone Sour, it is hugely different. The sound is much more rough and distorted, the riffs from the guitars are really good - some more heavy than others, and the songs are not depressing!
For this price it's almost certainly a must, and if you do buy it - play it loud!

Top 100 Music Reviewer

Come what (ever) may is a step up from their self titled first album, they've focused more on melodies this time, and in general the music is just so much better. The album has softer moments such as Through Glass, and then full blown guitar driven rants such as Come What (Ever) May.

To Slipknot fans interested in buying this, if you prefer their first two albums more than Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses, this may not be for you. However, I loved Vol 3 and love this album.

Simply an awesome album. It has many different levels from the explosions of '30/30 150' to the softer building of 'Zzyxx road' and political views shown in the obviously George W Bush based 'Come What(ever) May'. Every listen will reveal something new, an album that will never tire.
