Let's make no bones about this. Slade were one of the UK's premier live bands. Forget the Xmas song, forget the glam clothes. Just buy this get your headphones on and enjoy four headbanging stonking live sets from one of the most underated bands ever to grace a UK stage. Keep on rocking!
Amazing Slade live anthology. The band really delivers the goods on stage. Heavy, high-energy performances, all the way from the early 70's cover stuff to the 80's reborn hard rockin' wonder. And quality remastering; wonderful dynamics, yet raw. If you want to know what real rock 'n roll is all about, get this 2CD. Thumbs up!
WOW, what a rocking band Slade were. That voice. But all four of them shine on this live anthology. Hear Jims bass solo, Dons thundering drums and Daves twiddly guitar bits. Covers their whole career-from 72 to their Reading triumph in 81. A must.
