Totally Awsome band a bit like the arctic monkeys although not quite as good but are still to make it big.
Songs to look out for are LIPSTICK LICkING, SEND IN THE BOYS & CHESHIRE CAT SMILE.

I think it's a brilliant album, and since I got it I havn't stopped listening to it. There is a catchy guitar riff to every song, and songs such as "What Wou Could've Won" and "Lipstick Licking" are dreams. I think this band deserve more recognition, there much better than some of the new indie bands who get a lot of tv and radio play, if you like Arctic Monkeys you will simply love this album, straight out of the top draw.

This album is an absolutely amazing album with great guitaring, lyrics, bass and smashing drums been to see them live three times now and every time ive been blown away absolutely fantastic, the barnsley gig was immense stopping throughout to calm down the riot of fans screaming the lyrics back to the band, and just to get the facts straight,,Arctic monkeys are amazing and the best out there at the minute but Milburn are NO copy band if i remember correctly the monkeys supported Milburn at a gig in sheffield before they went massive!!!,,''WELL WELL WELL just look what the cat dragged in '' a schemier a lier a cheated or were to begin'' GENIUS!! .. Plus the monkeys are close friends with both Milburn, gas club and the harrisons oh yeah and reverend and the makers, and all seperatley have there own unique way of putting there music across.. x

Milburn are constantly given bad press because they're from the same city as another fairly famous, pretty good Sheffield band. Seen as bandwagoners with limited talent this couldnt be further from the truth. This album has two problems to which i hope they read this; Stockholm Syndrome is them trying to be that other Sheffield band and it's not them; and it's all too polished not enough grime which, if you've seen them, is totally them. They have an incredibly good array of songs a lot of which they left off this album. Send in the Boys is a total BLOKE song and it should have kicked the album off. Milburn have been around since 2001...one year longer than *whispers* Arctic Monkeys...so how on earth could they be copying off them?!

Milburn are the best new band of the year! Truely a great album, lots of songs that become familiar so quickly. If you like indie you will love these guys. AAA. Best songs are numbers 4, 6, 8,9, 11. Cant remember the tiltes just has the cd on repeat.
