Ive just recently bought this album and cant stop playing it cant think why i never bought it years ago ive been a big fan of pink floyd since dark side of the moon came out but always overlooked david gilmours solo albums dont be like me and put off buying this at a fiver its a real bargain great songs fantastic guitar work superb production this album is highly recommended

If you like Pink Floyd but haven't listened to David Gilmour's solo work, I would recommend starting here, particularly because this is his first (then move onto his second "About Face" and finally to his third "On an Island"). It also gives you a chance to hear how David has progressed over the years working on his solo career. I listen to songs off this album almost everyday, mainly "Raise My Rent" and "There's No Way Out of Here". I never get tired of listening to this album(and the rest of his work). I also find this is good album to just sit and relax to(as I do with all of his music).
