For me this CD did exactly what it said on the case and as someone who had heard bits of Joss' music and thought they were ok but missing a little something this album has that little extra oomph that might help it appeal to a wider audience (reminds me of late 60's/early 70's soul with slight mellow motown overtones in places but done in a way that makes it sound much more present day - not sure if tha makes sense, so your own experience may of course vary! ;:-) Definitely recommended to people who may have been on the fence in the past about whether to buy a Joss Stone album though! Good evening chillout listening.

I must admit, It took me a while to get into Joss stone & her music. But after listening to her second album, I thought she was a very good singer but missing something! After hearing that Rafael Sadiq was producing the album I said to myself ' this has to be good', as I think Rafael is totally underated & is up there with the great producers of today. Anyway what I am trying to say is the Album is the lick, the bomb & mind blowing. Like someone else who made a comment about this album, I'm surprise there is not much hype about this cd. Anyway If you like good music & singing, buy this cd. You won't be disapointed!
