For me this CD did exactly what it said on the case and as someone who had heard bits of Joss' music and thought they were ok but missing a little something this album has that little extra oomph that might help it appeal to a wider audience (reminds me of late 60's/early 70's soul with slight mellow motown overtones in places but done in a way that makes it sound much more present day - not sure if tha makes sense, so your own experience may of course vary! ;:-) Definitely recommended to people who may have been on the fence in the past about whether to buy a Joss Stone album though! Good evening chillout listening.

I must admit, It took me a while to get into Joss stone & her music. But after listening to her second album, I thought she was a very good singer but missing something! After hearing that Rafael Sadiq was producing the album I said to myself ' this has to be good', as I think Rafael is totally underated & is up there with the great producers of today. Anyway what I am trying to say is the Album is the lick, the bomb & mind blowing. Like someone else who made a comment about this album, I'm surprise there is not much hype about this cd. Anyway If you like good music & singing, buy this cd. You won't be disapointed!

i cant figure out how such a good album went so un-noticed.

her vocals are stronger than ever and there isnt one bad track on the cd - well except the lame vinne jones intro. its not needed at all!

she is the best uk soul singer around at the moment, and its a shame this album has been so under rated

stand out tracks..

As a big fan of Joss's 2 previous albums 'Soul Sessions' & 'Mind, Body & Soul', it displeases me to say that this album was a vast dissapointment. Joss has lost her uniqness and sounds like any other mindless warbling drone! Missing classics like 'Right To Be Wrong' & 'Super Duper Love', this album is dull and does not show off the true ''Laid-back soul vocals'' of Miss Stone's capability. Let's hope the 4th album will show Joss returning to a standard that made everyone adore her in the first place.

Introducing is a sensationally good album, just people seem to have given up on miss stone as a person which in my opinion is completely unjust. Joss speaks with a slight american accent (i mean what do you expect when shes practically been living there for the last five years) so no one buys hers over here in the UK, wheras Michael Jackson molests children (allegedly) but people still go out and buy his cds! What is the world coming to??? The album is full of top notch songs and really defines joss as an artist to be reckoned with, its just people seem to have a problem with her as a person and therefore this Fantastic album has gone un-noticed...
