Brillaint album. Life in Technicolor opens proceedings and what a way to start! If i could this album would have a rating of 4 1/2 a superb album and althought i'm not a avid Coldplay listener i really enjoy this album, Especially the title song Viva La Vida! If you enjoy former coldplay albums buy this!

Very Brian Eno influenced album with more than a hint of Bowie's Low album to thank. I was looking forward to hearing this, having enjoyed the title track so much. A bit mediocre really beyond three or four tracks that are quite good. Stand out tracks Viva La Vida and Strawberry Swing.

  An enjoyable album

This album had a lot to live up to seeing as X&Y is one of my personal favourites, and it doesn't disappoint. I do think you have to listen to it a few times to get used to the tracks, and then you'll find it an enjoyable album to listen too. It is typical Coldplay music which some may find a bit same-y, but I think it's great and the instrumental 'Life in Technicolor' is a great opening track.

  The best

Pre ordered it and was very excited but wasn't sure the first couple of times I listened but I am now hooked and love it. Last few tracks definitely the best and I love Death and All his Friends most of all. The thing about Coldplay is that although the band would not be successful without Chris Martin, he would not be successful without his band - the music is excellent. A really professional, intelligent band who are obviously passionate about their music and their critics could not deny that!

sorry if this upsets the fanboys (and girls) out there but I really cant see what all the fuss is about. No one track stands out and they are all mediocre at best. Very disappointing.
