Don't listen to people who compare this to her first album - THIS IS A NEW ALBUM! It's supposed to be different - it called progress. There are some superb melodies that stand out as strong points on the album and some equally fantastic lyrics. As has already been pointed out, Hopeless, Funny Man and Saving My Face are great tracks and will have you playing the album over and over. If you have heard just one of her songs in the past and liked it even the slightest bit, buy this.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Just OK

In many ways this album is better than her first. Admittedly, the songs aren't as catchy, but KT suits this rock chick style. HOPELESS, SAVING MY FACE and LITTLE FAVUORS are brilliant songs.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars The folk's gone, but welcome rocker KT!

Be warned, this album is NOT like her debut, this is pure pop/rock, and it is brilliant if you love pop/rock!
Songs that we all loved like Other Side of the world are gone but have been replaced by up beat, jolly catchy tunes with display KTs vocals at their best.
Stand out tracks for me are
Little Favours
If Only
Funnyman (probably my favourite)
Hold On
Hopeless
I Don't Want You Now
Saving My Face
Beauty Of Uncertainty
Paper Aeroplane

The folk influences come back with Someday Soon and Paper Aeroplane, I bought this album being unsure about it, but it has not left my playlist since. The singles Hold On & Saving My Face give you a good clue about the style of tracks on the album, with the electric guitar in Hold On making it the perfect danceable tune!

BUT BE WARNED, if your looking for the folk influences, you will not find them here, but a super pop/rock album!

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars A very good album KT Tunstall voice is beautiful.

I would give this cd five stars but I did'nt as it's not as good as Eye To The Telescope, but nearly is and still worth having. Her style of writing songs is clever and catchy with a voice to fall in love with. Her music should appeal to most of you music lovers out there so give her a go you hopefully won't regret it.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars A little bland :(

Not quite the follow up I expected. Good reviews on here but I felt this is more mellow and not as catchy as her first offering.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Fantastic Album

I absolutely love this album. I thought Eye to the Telescope would be very difficult to follow as its such a great album. I also thought that after the fabulous Acoustic Extravaganza album there may not be any other great tunes left in KT's songbook which could follow it. How wrong I was. The mix of rock and acoustic on this album is amazing - from the fabulous opening of Little Favours right down to the gorgeous acoustic Paper Aeroplane. I think White Bird is one of my favourite's by KT, I was lucky enough to see her live a few weeks back at the Birmingham Carling Academy and I urge anyone else to go and see her live, she's amazing and as a fellow guitar player I was in absolute awe! If you dont buy this album you'll have missed out.
