- Lloyd Banks is back with The Rotten Apple and no protégé in the history of rap has achieved the success Banks did with his #1 debut album The Hunger For More (2 million copies with an impressive 450,000 selling in week one). That's the kind of debut that veteran artists have! After two years of touring with 50 Cent & Eminem on the Anger Management Tour and recording songs for the double platinum soundtrack to 50 Cent's blockbuster Get Rich Or Die Tryin', Banks is now ready to build on the success of The Hunger For MoreThe Rotten Apple is the album capable of achieving that with featured artists that include 50 Cent, Rakim, Musiq Soulchild, Mobb Deep, Tony Yayo, Young Buck, Scarface & 8Ball, and production from Eminem, Timbaland, JR Roten and Havoc of Mobb Deep. Banks is back, his punch lines are fierce, and his flows are breathtaking as he demonstrates on his new Eminem produced single Hands Up and the gritty street tracks Cake and My House. The Rotten Apple it's hard to the core!.

When I first heard this cd i wasn't impressed at all. There was only 3songs i immediately liked "cake", "hands up" and "NY NY". However, the more i've listened to it the more it grew on me. Songs such as "playboy 2", "rotten apple" and "One Night Stand" have grown on me massively.
Definately worth purchasing..
Shines On Few Rest Is Medicore at best !
