Do you like feeling just annoyed and fed up? Buy this. Its nearly as depressing as the first album. Complete waste of money and plastic.
Simply and utterly superb

Bought this album at the end of March and it's hardly been out of my CD player since. It's up there with Hopes and Fears (Keane) and X & Y (Coldplay). Roll on the next one, James!
Much the same...

If you enjoyed his first album, then you will love this one too!
The style is much the same, but this album has some very catchy lyrics with all the famous Blunt soul and feeling :-)
fine album

Loved the first album, and the second doesn't disappoint. A little bit short again, but very well composed aside from that. For those saying its "depressing", that's not really what this type of music is about, you'll appreciate it as you get older.

Top 100 Music Reviewer
I bought this cd on the strength of hearing 1973 and everyone telling me how how brilliant James Blunt is.
Truth is this album is probably the most depressing in the charts at the moment.
That said, it is curiously and annoyingly addictive. He seems to be able to get away with doom and gloom. I'm not a huge fan of his, but this album does seem to have something about it.
Don't listen to them James

I'm sure he won't listen to the ignorant people out there like the person that gives both his albums 1 star. That's all it is, sheer ignorance.
Both his albums are classic songwriting. He's having the time of his life at the moment, selling millions of albums and enjoying dalliances with some of the world's most beautiful women so I don't think the views of a few chavs will interest him! lol
And if you like James Blunt why not check out KT Tunstall's albums. More talented songwriting.
Great CD

Fantastic music, the first CD of James Blunt's that i've bought and i'm really impressed. Think I must get hold of some of his older stuff now.
