Half a notch down from Employment, but still a good album. Perhaps not as consistent as their previous effort, this still has enough good songs to warrant a purchase. Stand out track is the catchy 'I Can Do Without You'.
GREAT!!!

My favourite album of last year. Not quite as good as Employment, but how can anyone beat a first album like that? Well done
This is unarguably THE best album I have bought in a long time, at first when it came out I was annoyed with everybody chanting "Ruby, Ruby, Ruby" and for this matter I didn't bother buying it, however once I heard "Loves Not A Competition (But I'm Winning)" and also now the new single "Heat Dies down", I really fell in love with these songs so I got the album and I must say god knows why I didn't bother buying this sooner.
The whole album from start to finish is absolutely brilliant and has a great mixture of songs from the fast heavier songs such as "Heat Dies Down", and "Thankyou Very Much", to the slower songs such as "Boxing Champ" and "Loves Not A Competition, (But Im Winning)", every song in this album has brilliant lyrics and there are some great sounds that you will really fall in love with.
Altogether this is a perfect album especially for driving, and I've only just noticed that the price has been dropped by another £1 which is just a fantastic deal for an album this good!

Fantastic, Absolutly Fantastic. Theres not a lot I can say really, there brilliant in the studio and brilliant live (I saw them at The Birmingham NIA in November). Nick Hodgson must be one of the greatest songwriters ever, he's certainly written 13 dreams here, and having heard two new songs at the concert "Never Miss A Beat" and "You Want History" I can't wait for album three so come on Ricky let's get it out, the best song on this album for me is "Thankyou Very Much"
AWSOME!!!!!!!!!

Obviously many ppl like this band, and arent going to b told otherwise, I can understand why, but dont b avictim of ur own simplicity. Yes they r catchy, annoying, but the songs stick in ur mind, tht doesnt make them gd by any measure. The band has the combined techinical proficiency of a paraplegic door mouse. Plz just try listenin to some deeper music, wit emotion and power behind it. I mean cmon, oh yes I' rly diggin the overwhelming emotional meaning behind 'ruby ruby ruby ruby'. If you want truly good music, look to progressive rock, or if you prefer heavy then prog metal
Over over over rated! Ah ah ah ah ah...

So this is music now then is it? Okay...
I usually wouldn't bother attacking such an easy target but I've just had to endure Ruby in the car, and it's left me pretty angry.
A lot of people (arguably those with taste) absolutely loathe Kaiser Chiefs, which is completely understandable. The rest of the general public love them though, meaning they are quite popular. I am neither; they are nothing to me.
However, this album is so dull it has actually been the number one cause of lead poisoning in the UK this year.
How can anyone really love a band whose best song to date is entitled Na Na Na Na Naa?
