Green Day's albums are all amazing! They are all fairly simular but AMAZING! You are missing out if you don't have this CD! I went to see them in concert on the '21st Century Breakdown Tour' They were absolutley amazing. Certainly made my first concert the best! Green Day ROCK!

  Continuing with their awesomeness...

Another excellent album from Green Day. It's along the same lines of American idiot but not wuite as good. That dosn't make it a bad album, with Viva la Gloria! ,Know your Enemy and the amazing 21 Guns it can't go wrong.A very good album and enjoyable.

I'm torn between this album and American Idiot, because they are both very, very good albums; but both in different ways. I love American Idiot because of it's simple and catchy songs, and I love 21st Century Breakdown because of it's more upbeat, complex songs.

This album has more of a contrast of sounds than American Idiot, for example: East Jesus Nowhere and Last Night on Earth.

All in all, a very good album for long-time fans of Green Day and new-comers.

  There best one so far

I don't understand how anyone can say that american idiot is full of good songs and this isn't.
There are three songs i find boring and don't listen to whereas on american idiot theres only about 4 good songs, This is full of good songs that are catchy and fun.

Too much quantity, not enough quality.

Not as good as American Idiot. This album is too long, they've complicated it too much, and too much of it is just filler - annoying intros (eg. Song Of The Century, American Eulogy). I think that they should have put all the energy into making a better, shorter album.

However, there are some songs on the album that redeem:
21 Guns
East Jesus Nowhere
Before The Lobotomy
Christians Inferno
both Viva La Glorias.

All in all, it's an okay album, but don't expect another American Idiot. Some songs are quite boring, but there are still some gems. 21 Guns is easily the standout track.

This does nothing but blow me away, I was sure that Green Day woudn't be able to top the epic American Idiot, but obviously they can. Honestly, EVERY track is brilliant favorites would have to be Christian's Inferno and East Jesus Nowhere. So there is a simple thing to say here, if you are a fan of green day get this, if you are not a fan of green day get this because if you don't you have no idea what you are missing. Well done green day and cannot wait for the next album :)
