This album is what i compare every other album i get too..
No album i have ever owned (and iv got pretty much everything) has exceeded the standard of this..
This truly is a master peice to be marvelled at..
The lyrical ideas and musicmanship that goes into each on of these tracks really is something that deserves to be recognised..
I feel very sad that so many people have failed to let the tracks grow on them as 4 stars overall rating for this does not do it justice..
Some tracks, admittedly, took longer than others too sink in, but once they did, i got that same rush that i got from all the others..
Buy this album, listen and listen and listen and it will change the way you look at music and life..
I'v had it for 3 years.. I always listen to it and i cant get bored of any of the songs..
So do your self a favour and buy it..
Thanks for reading..
Rob.

save urself a few quid and just get brianstorm
Arctic Monkeys: These four young chaps are members of Britain's new craze breakout smash hit band Arctic Monkeys. You might have heard of them. From left to right we have Jamie Cook on guitar, Matt Helders on drums, Alex Turner on guitar/vocals and Andy Nicholson on bass. They are sort of an amalgamation of Britain's current "it" bands, but instead of singing about politics or using tounge-in-cheek jabs and puns they sing about booze and sex and being... famous? Yeah, can you say pretentious much?
You see, what this album lack, is imagination, ambition, new ideas and mainly talent. Do yourself a favour and listen to people who don't think "brianstorm" is a clever name for a song.
This band has really come into their own with great lyrics and musical stylings. There is nothing really hooky here, but it's still fun to listen to.
I got the first Arctic Monkeys album after hearing so much positive stuff about it and liking the first couple of singles, but it didn't blow me away. I haven't bought this yet but thanks to everyone elses over-enthusiasm for the band I've heard it all. I wish I hadn't.
I do not understand what is meant to be so fantastic about this band - to me every song sounds the same: 'intelligent' lyrics and an accent. I've heard it all before by them, but I'm sure I'll hear it all again. The songs are catchy enough, but definitely not the classics they seem to be sold as...this album seems to just be cashing in on the success of the first one.
