Once Upon A Time In The West

Stuart Maconie keeps playing this late on Radio 2. It is his fault that I have put an order in for this album on the basis of one track. Let us hope that the rest of the tracks are equally brilliant.

this album is actually class, its stil got the classic drunken sing along kind of anthems that stars of cctv offered us in hard to beat and living for the weekend, yet builds musically to deliver a more advanced quality of music, but with the vintage hard fi sound, buy it.

Until i got this Album i didn't think i liked Hard-Fi that much, but after listening to this they have become one of my fav bands.
Every song in this Album is good in its own right and most are very,very good , in my opinion Little Angel , The King , Suburban Knights , Tonight , Television and Cant get along are all Superb and great to listen to, they could all be singles in their own right.

Love the band. Loved Stars of CCTV. Listening to some of the songs on their myspace...just brilliant. As good as SOCCTV and could even become better in my opinion.

After buying Hard-Fi's first album 'Stars Of CCTV' I instantly became a fan. However, the album was not perfect. I'm listening to 'Once Upon A Time In The West' right now on Hard-Fi's myspace, and there isn't one song on it that could'nt be a single. Their style of music has definately developed since the first album. You can still tell that it's Hard-Fi, but the songs are quite different from the previous ones (for the better in my opinion). Buy the new album even if you haven't heard the first - it's exceptional. The best song on the album I think is 'We Need Love', it's so catchy and different at the same time!
