Definitely an album with substance. Listening to Talib Kweli is like an art class - it oozes creativity and broadens the mind - a welcome change from the more common "hip pop." 'More/Less', 'Country Cousins', and 'The Perfect Beat' will, no doubt, have you bopping you head, and if these tracks don't grab you, 'Hot Thing' most certainly will. One of hip hop's greatest assets!

A great album from someone who I have always followed and considered to be a great rapper, but who has never achieved what he really should have.
It's not often that i enjoy every track on an album, but there isn't one that i dont love from this CD. Each track has Kweli's smooth and silky vocals on it, ranging from him exploding on the mic like an MC in the midst of battle to his sweet serenading lyrics like poetry from a master.
With fresh beats and great collaborations, if you like hip-hop you've gotta love this!
Keep it up Talib, you've finally smashed it!
Full on fantastic, Hip hop is back from vacation.

Hip hop has returned from vacation with a black, smooth tan and shades. Talib and I go way back but this album has become an instant favorite, love at first listen, from the first beat on Everything man, track 1. The beats are funky and hypnotic, couldn't keep still in an open plan office. The collaboration are pure perfection from KRS ONE, Jean Grae, Kanye West, Will.I.am, Sizzla, Musiq... Breathtaking. You get 17 tracks the 3 bonus tracks which is some serious value for money and the bonus tracks are truly a bonus, if you overstand what I mean. I can listen to every track which is liberating and the lyrical content is bound to have me open and re-educated everytime I put my Eardrum to this CD. I was inspired to write this review, which I have never done before but some things have to be done. One love Talib.

lyrical genius, consistently good tracks, people need to wake up and start buying kweli's music more. This album is such good listening. Was disappointed to see Timberlake on there but the track isnt too bad.

Great album, Talib is, as always, on point lyrically and the beats dont let down. Some good collabs with KRS ONE etc. If you like Kanye West's latest, or Common you will like this.
why you sleeping on this guy?
