  excellent sound track

A really good mix of songs here (obviously the ones from the film). There's a general relaxing sound to most of the songs and the satellite heart track is just lovely. Great film soundtrack to go with a great film. If you enjoyed the orginal twilight soundtrack then the cd of the sequel will not let you down. Not as lively but still plenty to enjoy

An outstanding album. Granted I didn't think the film was fantastic but the the soundtrack? Very impressive. I boasts some of my favourite artists - The Killers, Muse, Editors, Thom Yorke and Death Cab For Cutie - and has some pretty good up and coming artists too. I would recommend this CD to alot of people!

This is a great compilation soundtrack album, even for non-fans of New Moon. There are a couple of original songs here too I think. Hearing Damage by Thom Yorke is really good, as is Monsters, Slow Life, The Violet Hour are my favourites. Just a really great album.

Brings scenes from the film straight to mind

This soundtrack fits the film perfectly. I have heard it called depressing, but I think the tracks fit the tone of the film without being depressing at all. There are several standouts for me: Possibility, Slow Life, Meet me on the equinox and Satellite Heart bring to mind the heartache, whereas Friends, Monsters and I belong to you have more of an upbeat feel. Thom Yorke's Hearing Damage is probably the track of the album, rather like Paramore's Decode was the standout on the Twilight soundtrack.

I think a sign of a good soundtrack is when hearing the song immediately brings to mind the scene it came from in the film. These songs definitely do that. There isn't a bad song amongst them and although some of the artists are well known already, a lot of them I hadn't heard of. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for them now.

  i love it

I bought this one as I loved the Twilight soundtrack, this one is incredible and really suits the mood and feel of the new moon film. It has introduced some amazing new artists to me and I think I have found my song of the year in track No. 4 - such a beautiful record and perfect to set the mood for Bella's heartache!! A must have album!

It's totally different compared to the Twilight soundtrack.
This fits the book very well. You should play whilst reading the book.
Most of the songs are really relaxing and tranquil. The more rocky songs are upbeat and exciting. If you like the book you will love this.
When you watch the movie you will understand each track better.

The soundtrack continues fluently from one story to the next

Ok, so I got this today with a little trepidation thinking that it would never match the quality of the first one! As soon as I hit play I was transported back to Forks and the world of Twilight! They have really hit the right notes on this, you can imagine the wolves, La Push, the vampires and the pain! And Bella's lullaby which all Twilhards love has been surpassed by the talents of Alexandre Desplat and The Meadow Theme! I totally recommend this if you love Twilight or not!
