Live At The BBC

Oh yes, this is what you want. Don't delay, buy it! A great all round package, excellent booklet with plenty of detail of each track on CD1. You may have most of these tracks already but they don't sound like these. CD2 the live recording is a stonker. Yes, the lead guitar gets lost in the mix at times, yes you can feel Nods frustration as he tries to get the audience going, but this is what a live show is about. Just like a real pearl is rough around the edges it is infinitley better than a smooth polished fake one, the bass playing is stunning on Move Over, and Nods voice is stupendous.If you have the Slade Alive album, (if not why not?) you know what you're gonna get, just an excellent performance by one of the great bands of our time. Keep on Rockin' as Nod says.

What a great album - even the unknown songs are amazing. If you have/like Slade Alive you will love this.

a good selection of early slade tracks all never been officially released before,a good clear recording several tracks showing noddys vocal talents to the full,and several cover versions inc nights in white satin with jim lea on violin.not for the casual listener but more for fans or people looking for good early live material from a band that excelled live on stage.
