Is it worth to buy this Deluxe Edition? Yes and no. If you are Moby fan and like his ambient style, this is certainly worth every penny. If you are not a big fan of ambient music, just keep it to single version.
The drawings from Moby on the cd cover are really good and it is the most original cover of all of the Moby cds. But a cover of the cd is easy to compare with the cd itself, because is this a continuum of Hotel or can we hear a new Moby? I think it is not like Play and 18 where you can hear almost the same sound. Wait For Me sounds more like an end of a book, the fourth and the last chapter.
18 tracks are tracks on the DeLuxe Edition (16 on the regular one). All of the tracks are easy listening with a low beat. They are very different like Study War, a track where you can hear and feel Mobys opinion about war itself. Others like Wait for Me and Stock Radio is Moby on his best.
The Ambient Wait for Me is featuring ambient versions of the album, but not all of them. Some tracks have more versions. It is a nice to have it with the cd. If you compare it with Ambient (1996) or Hotel Deluxe Edition, perhaps because the tracks are versions of the album, it is not the ambient style we know from Moby. Nevertheless, it is great hear it.
The dvd is contains live performances and a couple of music videos. There are also some interviews with Moby and some clips from the drawings.
