Following one of the biggest comebacks in pop history, Take That hit the road with their record-breaking Circus Live tour. The euphoria, energy and sheer brilliance of the quartet's live performance is captured to perfection on double album, The Greatest Day - Take That Present The Circus Live, the band's first ever official live release.
Disc 1 features the band performing live at Wembley Stadium, the final night of their mammoth tour. Massive hits including 'Patience', 'Never Forget', 'Back For Good' and 'Relight My Fire' are played to perfection, alongside other crowd favourites including 'Hold Up A Light' and 'The Garden'. A perfect record of, what to many a fan, is the perfect gig, this 16-track recording was mixed by the legendary Bob Clearmountain (who's incredible production skills have seen him work with everyone from Bruce Springsteen to a certain Robbie Williams). Disc 2 finds the band in a more intimate setting, but still equally as energetic. An exclusive recording performance at the world famous Abbey Road studios, this first-of-a-kind session by Take That sees them focus on the material of their most recent two albums, with highlights including 'Greatest Day', 'Rule The World' and 'Said It All'.
The Circus Live tour catapulted Take That into the record books over the summer, becoming the fastest selling tour the UK has ever seen. Continually setting the benchmark for popular music, The Greatest Day: Take That Present The Circus Live is a worthy and most enjoyable record of a piece of pop history.

This is the first live allbum Take That have ever done. It is fantastic. Re-lived happy memories of seeing the boys back in June at Hampden Park. The Abbey Road sessions are just amazing its just the boys and their band at their best. The songs are stripped right back and gives the whole album a very intimate feel. The album is worth buying for the Abbey Road sessions alone.
That concert was breathtaking! Just unbelievable...definatley one on the best concerts i have ever been to! keep up the great work lads x
Take That at Wembley was the most fantastic show I have ever been to; so anyone who doesn't understand why they have such a massive following should try watching the DVD and just maybe you will understand why they are so loved... Im 51 yrs of age and this was my first TT time and I cant wait to go again.. So thankyou lads for what was truely the Greatest Day of MY life.
amazing fantastic show sooooo looking forward to album take that are fantastic live
The release of a CD version of the live show is really good and I wish they would do the same for the "Beautiful World" too. I have the Blu -Ray of both concerts and the addition of the CD version of Circus allows me to listen to the concert in the car. The studio versions of both tours are fine but lack the power and atmosphere of the live show. I was never a Take That fan until "Beautiful World"but this group is so talented and entertaining that I have to admit to being converted. Their live performances for me are the best and show their true strength as totally harmonised entertainers. I would add that they are better as four! in my opinion.
