slayer are the godfathers of thrash and are also one of the best live acts in the world.this album brings together the old slayer sound with fantastic riffs, awesome drumming by lombardo and toms vocals at their best....all you young uns this is how it should be done............

slayer really crate a good thrash album. it s not like other bands making same music each time. the crist illusion is probably the worst Slayer album releasted till date. But not like metalica .....slayer really stiil the king of trash metal and still holding their rooots. on that album they really had good and orjinal music .and show thier profesiolallity. if you get this record and listen their musics you ll understant what € mean

this is good. lots of thrash in this album, great solos from kk and jh.
toms seems understandably angry with the world which seems to shine in his sound, although maybe a bit lazy in his positioning of the lyrics.
i didnt really know what to expect after this many years but they've still got it. it may take a few listens (as did christ illusion for me) but your favourites soon stand out.
i think WPB, americon and PWD are the best tunes, but you make your own minds up.
only gets 4 stars as my morbidity sees me hold strong that divine is still the best album. ;)

 ok ok

A decent album. Much better than CI. The solos are horrible. My fav. Beauty through order, human strain, not of this god.
