the searchers were 'vocally' one of the better groups at a time when we were spoilt for choice.
with major hits like 'sweets for my sweet' 'needles and pins' and 'don't throw your love away' the searchers were well followed.
they did have a series of lesser chart success with songs like 'love potion number 9' 'sugar and spice' and 'when you walk in the room'
i was sorry to see that 'it's in her kiss' isn't included on this album a song recorded by many including a decade or so later by 'cher' 'the shoop shoop song' the 'searchers version was pretty good.
the group are an important part of 'pop' history and were well followed at that time, even able to tour and be widely watched way beyond the 60's era.
