If there was so such thing as the best Music, quite simply and literally this comes exceptionally close!

... The Avett Brothers, Damien Rice and Fleet Foxes made a musical lovechild, it would be Mumford & Sons. (Yeah, yeah, no pun intended!)

What a liberating, earthy and tuneful album. I heard them sing the Cave on tv at Glastonbury and bought the album. No regrets, great songs sang from the heart with wacky and memorable lyrics.

I'm not surprised most people are giving 5 stars to these guys, I'm new to them but they're really growing on me, listening to them will give anyone a sense of satisfaction, they're really cool, like, sub-zero cool!!

I absolutely love this album, I listen to it again and again and I'm still not tired of it. I brought it way back when I heard Winter Winds on the radio as I knew it was going to be good! I also never feel the need to skip forward a track as every song is so catchy.

is it retro? yes, absolutely!
does it bother? no, absolutely not!
as well their bandname as their music refers to the earlier ages of the rock era. where music was still music, delivered through instruments rather than synths and computers.
don't get it wrong: it's very modern though! and very refreshing between all the overrated R&B acts from nowadays. it's not that i'm not into music of today, on the contrary. refreshing and uplifting are the keywords here!
buy a share of their stock!

My mate bought this a few nights ago and we must of played each track at least 50 times while driving around. Brilliant album.

Most music these days is awful, but this is just fantastic. I hope more country rock music like this gets in the charts! Fav song dust bowl dance.
