I heard this first on LP when it came out but this collection of classic British songs with attitude and social comment of the time is among the very best Weller has to offer.

Another classic Jam album, with Wellers songwriting to the fore. A bit more personal to Weller this one reflecting his thoughts and feelings at the time, quite political in its own way. The songs are up tempo and Wellers lyrics are harsh and condeming of the system. Some classic tracks on here including Bruce Foxtons "Smithers Jones" which he still sings on tour. Go for it!
