This will inevitably divide opinion in much the same way as Metallica's S&M. Where Helloween score ahead of Metallica is this is a (brilliant) sudio recording and the orchestration is used sparingly - not for the sake of it and not on every track (although every song is a new and sometimes very different arrangement from the original). Highlights are 'The Keeper's Trilogy' - a medley of the best of Helloweens three masterpieces where the orchestra and band combination is simply stunning - and also 'A Tale That Wasn't Right' where Andi Deris' vocals are superb.
don't want to be narrow minded but not what I expected at all from Helloween, I thought it would be a updated version of some classic/metal tracks but was very dissapointed, doesn't hit the rock bench mark in my opinion, for a helloween first buy I would reccomend going for 'keeper of the seven keys pt II
