Fantastic 5th album - a real grower. If I'm being truthful, i wasn't sure whether I actually liked it on first listen - but having played it now a few times in the car - i think it's a fantastic album. Full of varied musical styles and rich, haunting lyrics Tom's at his absolute best. A real treasure that will keep replaying in your mind long after you've switched off your CD. Thanks Tom, for yet another memorable album.
recorded in his own home studio, less production on this album has resulted in a rawer, purer sound, much closer to the experience of hearing him live. With each listen, the songs become more beautiful and the lyrics more intriguing. This artist has always given fantastic value as a live performer and his fifth album is a gem.
