This album is brilliant, i only got it the other day and it is pure genius. The mixtures of the two genres of music is excellent and fits so well. Some of the songs sound like movie soundtracks and then metallica kicks in and i am like omg, this is brill. A must buy as i havnt stopped listenin to it and dont think i wil stop lol

Metallica plus a screeching orchestra. There is only one word for it - Epic!

Probably the worlds best metal band team up with the san fransisco symphony orchestra for this masterpiece. It shouldn't work, heavy guitar riffs combined with violins and cellos... But it sounds fantatsic. I am biast as a huge metallica fan, but this really is a must have piece. Buy this and you will not be dissapointed. Stand out tracks are 'hero of the day', 'no leaf clover' (exclusive to s&m) and 'master of puppets'

Oh and check out the dvd, seeing an orchestra head bang is really something =)
