What can one add to a Beatles collection? Well the answer is this CD.

Well it's actually more like a Tony Sheridan album as he's on 12 of the 14 tracks, as opposed to The Beatles 8.

The first two tracks are by The Beatles (track 2 being an instrumental), and on tracks 3-5, 7, 10 and 11 they are joined by TS, the rest are TS and The Beat Brothers. There are a few good moments contained within this album, but not necessarily by the Beatles. "Ain't She Sweet", "Sweet Georgia Brown" and "Ya Ya" are for me the highlights of the set.

Had I paid a lot of money for this I would have been mightily miffed, but at this price it's well worth adding to your Beatles collection.

Have heard some of the tracks off this album but quite a few are new to me
The album is very raw and reminds me of how local groups sounded in the very early sixties when you used to go to dances at village halls and youth clubs
Really enjoyed it a worth while buy
