i just like the whole album myself, and compared to the new sterophonics one,i would prefer this one,as ive listerned to both albums myself, and i didnt like the new sterophonics album at all,as its not like their previous ones wich had more meaning to them, and i like my rock music, and u cannot fault the lostprophets new album,as there are some heavy tracks on it.

 Pretty Damn Awesome

This album is everything you should have come to expect from Lostprophets, high quality songs, awesome vocals and instruments with a touch of commerical influence. I don't think people should compare albums to other albums, it's easy to say that this album is no where near as unrefined and untamed as Fake Sound of Progress but this isn't supposed to be its rival, bands albums should be judged for what they are not what they were. This album has many songs that are easily among their best yet, particularly 'Dstryr/Dstryr' and 'Next Stop Atro City' to name a few. This album admittedly does retain elements of all their albums, with songs soft enough to pass as songs from the last album aswell as songs with enough force to pass as 'Fake Sound of Progress' songs (slightly annoying endings included XD). If it were possible I would have given this 4.5/5. It did take me 2-3 listen throughs to truly appreciate how good this album was and I'm honestly suprised it did take that long.

A must for any LP fans and well worth the money for any rock/heavy music lovers.

Amazing album but listen to it a few times to fully appreciate it. Some tracks are brilliant and remind me of their earlier stuff but others are something new and different but are also fantastic!

Must buy for any Lost Prophets fan or general fan of Alternative Rock

 Amazing album!!

Been waiting for it to come out for a good 6 months now and well worth the wait. I bought it on the release and cant said anything other then amazing. Just love the songs "It's not the end of the world..." and my fav "Where we belong" but pretty much every song on the album is fantastic. Must buy!!

 Well worth the wait

Having heard all the hype about the new album, from the band and music press, I was looking forward to getting my hands on lostprophets' new album. And it didn't disappoint! There's heavier numbers as well as songs that are a little more radio friendly. Dirty Little Heart and Where We Belong are personal favourites. Definatly worth buying and if you get the chance make sure you see them live, they are amazing!!

 Yes but no....

This album has some very nice tracks on and some bring back the heavy side which makes them famous but nothing they make seem to sum up to anything played on "the fake sound of progress" or "Start Something". These were my personal two favourite albums and everything past them still seems to be going down hill.

Although i say this i still like the album and havnt been bored by any of the tracks and i have even tickets to see them in febuary in bristol but most of that is in the hope that they play some of the old songs like shinobi vs dragon ninja.... just cant beat that stuff....

Still worth a buy though.

 The real sound of progress!!!

I got this on the day it came out, one word... WOW!!!
The songs are amazing, especially Dstryr/Dstryr and Streets of Nowhere. A must buy for any Lostprophets fans, and even if you're not a fan of Lostprophets, its definitely worth a listen.

 I love it but...

Lostprophets are brilliant, i have always loved them but this album is missing something. fake sound was amazing, edgy and heavy, start something..not as heavy but still had the riffs and then Liberation was a completely new direction into the more mainstream alternative. The Betrayed on the other hand is a mix of all albums, but it feels a bit unfinished. The songs are great but lostprophets fans definatly will need a couple of listens. i think the band struggled with album, especially since they had so many problems starting again and then deciding to let Stuart take the lead hand. its great work but something is missing from it :)
