this is the first album I heard of hers and fell in love with "the voice" straight away I find listening to this album more relaxing than relaxation tapes also the songs all have real feeling behind them if you were going to get any of her albums I would suggest this one as it has "the closest thing to carzy " on it and I think everyone has heard this at least once -if you want more of the same buy this album
Bought this album immediately after seeing one of Katie Melua's first performances on Parkinson, when she did 'The Closest Thing to Crazy'. Need I say more. Every track on this album is silky smooth which means the whole album is of an understated high quality. One of the best voices around today - and don't think it's all computerised to make her sound great like most albums, watch the DVD live performance which is provided with some of these albums and you'll see just how flawless her voice is.
