 David Bowie Low

If this was released today it would still sound ahead of it's time.
Truly the finest drum and bass sound on any album, this incredible Bowie album really has never been equalled.A blueprint for the decades to come for so many mediocre copycats this really is an album that repays repeated listening, put it in your IPOD and take a late night walk around the City of London, you'll never put up with Coldplay again.

 A musical wonder

David Bowie released his album "Low" in 1977 as the first part of the 'Berlin Triology'. It was a collaboration album with keyboardist Brian Eno. "Low" is an experimental album, and it's got a very unique sound to it. Most of the tracks are mainly instrumentals, and these tracks are in my opinion the best part of this album.
Regarded as one of his most influential albums, this album certainly had an impact at me too. I had no experience at all with David Bowie's music, but I loved this album at once. It's pretty different from anything else I've heard, and it really shows the musical genius that is David Bowie.
The title is said to be derived from Bowie's "low" moods during the recording and mixing sessions for the album.

I recommend this album to anyone who is interested in music, just generally. It's an amazing musical experience (one of my best at least) and very inspiring. When I decided to get some music from David Bowie I didn't realise it would be as great as this.
If you like music that's a little different, you should get this album. And you guys who's not that interested in experimental music should give this album a listen too. It's got music for everyone.
Personally I like 'Side two' the best (from "Warszawa" to the end), probably because I'm a sucker for great instrumentals and experimenting with effects and synths, trust me: this is not something you want to miss.
"Low" has got my highest recommendations to everyone (listen to it with an open mind, I mind you).
