This Album stranger comes to town, is a must for any one who appriciates the true art of music, excellent musicianship, top players, from the top draw, who really know how to deliver.
Quality music to your ears, led by the deep provoking soul searching voice of Steve Harley, this Album will have your undivided attention from start to finnish,

From the very first track , of Faith and virtue, all the way through to the last 200 years from now.

A must for any serious music lover . It's of its time !

This Cockney Rebel has come a long way from the heady sunny afternoons in Hyde Park , the sub ways of Marble arch, and Abby road studio's, with a trail of masterfull classic albums over the years in his wake.
If you've ever been a fan of Steve Harley's music over the years . this album cant fail to capture your sences and fill you with just a little Pride and Joy.

If you appriciat fine musicians crafting their art , this album will leave you wanting to play it over and over again. Buy it . listern to it , its Excellent ! it's Epic .

5 stars really is selling it short .

In the last 6 years, this man has produced two albums that rank as high as any he has ever made. If you only know (make me smile) and you want to see how an artist matures, then this cd is worth every penny. I have recommended to friends who remember Steve, to give this a listen and buy with the promise that if they don,t like it i will pay for it. I dont think i will be paying out to much as this is a great and hopefully successful album for a great artist.

 five stars is not enough!!!

received this cd with great anticipation, two days before official release, after a long, long wait since ordering back in march.
oh my gosh, this is the album steve harley was born to write and perform.every track is wonderful,no 'fillers' here,an emotional roller coaster ride of one mans observations of all that is wrong in the u.k.and the world today.a protest album of sorts, albeit a well disguised protest album.
steve opens up his heart,on love, life, war, peace, politics, family values, the present, the bleak future,if things dont change.
rod stewart once said steve was one of britains greatest ever song writers/composers.rod was wrong,he is up there in the top five at least, the lyrics on this album are a joy to behold,a very moving stroll through modern day life from the eyes of a very well educated man, with an obvious shake of the head at the frustration of what he sees before him.mr.harley and his wonderful collection of superb trusted musicians have produced a cd of epic proportions, much better in my opinion than his last two studio albums,'poetic justice' and 'the quality of mercy'.
this deserves to catapult steve back to the higher echelons of the album charts, but in this day and age of manufactured pop pap,it probably wont, and that is a sad loss to true music lovers everywhere.
i for one cannot wait to see these tracks performed live on the upcoming tour of the u.k. and europe.
please buy this album music lovers ,you will not be disappointed,i guarantee you that.if you agree with me then also visit steves website, details on the cd cover, and buy a ticket to see this band perform live in the u.k.
