After Supercharger, most people thought that Machine Head had effectively died as a band (I didn't think supercharger was that bad, but oh well) But they clawed their way back on top with this album which has raised the bar higher for metal bands. There isn't a dull track here, but particularly standout ones are Imperium, Descend the Shades of Night, and if you get the american release, Seasons Wither. This album is a must-have for any MH fan.
Repetive and boring

I really thought machine head would live up to their high standards with this cd but i got alot smarter when i started listening to it.
The tracks are pretty boring and none of them really stands out.
I always been a fan of Machine heads vocals but they really dissapointed me with this release.
This cd in my opinion pretty bad and you should not buy this.
Part 2: Still Outstanding
