While I understand the need for KoRn to return to their roots on this album, the sound comes across as very forced! Two tracks stand out for me 'Olidale' and 'Are you read to live?' which kills me to say as a KoRn fan

Should be titled "Korn: The Return"

As everyone else has already said...this album is the return of Korn!
If you are a fan of the good old days chunes like "Blind" and "Falling Away From Me" then this abum will not disappoint!!
No more boring, monotonous drone of "See you on the Other Side" (including the snore-inducing, ultimate tranquiliser "Coming undone") and the "Untitled" album (particular low-lights including the mind-numbing "Evolution"), this new album returns to the heavy sound of the original Korn, the reason we all started listening in the first place.
Buy this for a return to the days when headbanging was compulsory!!!!

Stripped Down Back to Basics Masterpiece

Korn strip everything back and come up with their best album in years. The old school korn are back with a head pounding raw sound that at times can be uncomfortable listening. The emotion runs high throughout the album with Jonathan Davis laying himself bare for the whole world to see, Songs such as let the guilt go and are you ready to live? show that korn still have issues and that is why so many of us come back for more. Ross Robinson certainly know what buttons to push to get the best out of Korn with a stripped down sound that at times is claustrophobic and relentless but absolutely brilliant.

 Just FANTASTIC

When i bought this album I had no expectations at all because of the last album. But after listening a couple of times to it, i find it very good. It sounds just like the first albums!

 fantastic!

best album they've brought out in many years! back to the early korn vibe and heavy. love this album, really surprised me at first, wasn't expecting the band to be able to 'go back' after all the experimenting on albums previous. quality album

 Excellent Return to Form !

After the last two albums i feared we would never hear the "Heavy" Korn again, and though you can hear and feel Head's absence in the overall sound (Take a look in the Mirror, the last "back to basics" album, had a extra layer of heaviness) - this is as good and as heavy an album as i can imagine the four piece band remaining could have produced.

The lead single "oildale" immediately grabs the attention with it's huge intro riff and furious vocals at the end. The subsequent songs keep the momentum going, a few stood out on the first listen but after several playings a lot of the vocals and riffs started to stick in my head.

Jonathan Davis is on his best form for some time and the band back him up excellently.

In Summary, any Korn fan who had given up hope of a return to their previous style will be extremely pleased and surprised with this album. My only wish is that somehow Head would come back to the band to rack up an even heavier sound!

 KoRn!!!

This album is amazing! KoRn finally have their heavy sound back again (best album since Head left). Fieldy's bass in this album is great, totally love it! JD's singing is very emotional in some songs, reminds me of the ealier albums. Drums are great also, Ray is an amazing drummer but I like how he kept some of davids playing style in some of the songs - e.g. the high hat bounce in "Fear Is A Place To Live" (reminds me of the "Here to Stay" drum sound. Munky has some very good riffs in this album, seems he has grown as a guitar player since head left.

Favourite song so far is "The Past" but I like them all :)

Simple as that KoRn are back and in a big way. This album is there best suff for some time and I love this band but the last couple of albums have been slightly disappointing...this is the album I have been waiting for since Issues and before! Awesome KoRn it just rocks, plain and simple.

 Great album!
