This is a great album full of grown-up pop songs and catchy, electronic beats.
It's pure electro pop at it's finest =)

  Simply fabulous!

I love their previous work, but this is the 1st of their albums which I like all the way through and I just can't stop listening to it. I love playing on my way to work and it really gets rid of those morning blues. Reminiscent of 70's & 80's disc, which I just love. My favourites are the title track, running out (which reminds me of sparks, remember them?) and invisible light. Truly a great album and a must have in your cd collection.

After the rather disappointing second album. This album comes booming back reminiscent of the first for the originality and superb tracks. whilst the second album had some good stand out tracks the overall album sounded dated. This however has more solid tracks that stand out on their own without sounding just like album fillers.
This album is reminiscent of The Pet Shop Boys earlier work and gives the album the Scissors unique style the last album lost due to the over campness of the first single release.

  Return to disco

This has such a strong disco beat throughout, coupled with the deliciously filthy and witty lyrics that we have come to expect from them. Scissor Sisters wanted to produce a much darker third album, and they did it - this album is definitely not for the kids.

Yet again another good effort from the brilliant scissor sisters, a real 80's feel to the album, a must for the summer. BUY it!

not as good as the previous albums

I've had this for 5 days now and it is all I have listened to in the car, more out of trying to like it than really enjoying it. It's not rubbish but it's nowhere near as catchy and happy upbeat as the last stuff. It almost has a more serious feel to it compared to songs like " I don't feel like dancing" & " Filthy Gorgeous ". There are a few songs that are growing on me and that I know to skip to but I was a bit disappointed.

Quite simply...STUNNING
This is the sisters best album to date. All you need to know is that you need to buy this NOW and to enjoy it all year long.
