5 What's the Story? Well... the usualBonham262 | 10/06/2007 | See all Bonham262's reviews (18)There's not much to be said about this classic, and all the things that are said, are just all good. I'm sure for any sane person that lived in the 90's, Oasis were huge and this along with Definitely Maybe was a force not to be reckoned with. The album captures the defining sound of the era of britpop with the electric opening of 'Hello' and outlines the new and exciting sound the band were creating with their newly signed drummer Alan White. Many believe that Definitely Maybe was the best, but in my opinion this albums just touches the post first with such classics as the haunting 'Wonderwall', the rocky singles 'Roll with it' and 'Some might say' along with the rave sounding 'Morning Glory', the closing 'Champagne Supernova' and of course, one the best songs ever to fill the ears of any music fan 'Don't look back in anger' which all shaped a generation. This album needs no introduction, if you still have it, well done, if you don't, do yourself a favour and get it now!!
