Wow, Coldplay have hit the top with this, what a complex, amazing album, def their best along with Mylo Xyloto.
Best song by far is Clocks, with its amazingly driven riff.
The scientist is also amazingly true and heart-felt and better than Fix You, things are rounded off with the beast of a tune- Politic, a flawless tune which reverts to heartbreak at the end.
Also worth mentions are Warning sign, In my place and God put a smile. Exceptional stuff.

This is the best album from Coldplay.
The singles are fantastic but I also love Green Eyes and the title track is even better.
I thought they were awesome at Glastonbury this year as they upped the tempo for the live show and it worked a treat.

If you're into their kind of music this second album is a worthy prolongation of their 'tradition'. To me, it's even more intense than their first album, it gets a tighter grip on your feelings. Certainly one of the cd's that i would select for a top 10 or a trip to an uninhabited island.
Certainly a hot pick and a real bargain, not to be missed

I picked this album after first hearing Yellow in the Lips Xbox 360 game. I'm thoroughly impressed. The CD is in my car stereo and I ripped it to my iPod. Must get more Coldplay.

Excellent, if not a bit overplayed.

This is an excellent album, pretty much from start to finish. The title track and 'God put a smile...' are probably the lower points, with personal favorites being 'The Scientist' and 'Warning Sign '- cello is possibly one of the most underused instruments in music such as this. 'Wonderwall' also pays testament to that I think.
Anyway, as with most of Coldplay's music, the main problem is that it is a bit too well known, and is overused in the media which devalues it a little which is a shame, although fortunately not as much as the X&Y. The only other slight niggle is that possibly there could be more variety, although thats not much of an argument.
Overall, highly recommended, with quality from start to finish.

At this price, no matter what genre of music you listen to this is a give-away!
Obviously coldplay fans will enjoy this optimumly but i suggest to those who appreciate music so deeply to get this album! It's an amazing album and the whole Coldplay sense and theme is just dominant throughout this album, i always listen to this album straight, it's soo hard just picking out every now and again.
For car journeys or travelling to work, or bed-time/relaxation times, this music is ideal.
Please buy if you already don't own, You won't regret i promise!

This album is simply the best, as it starts with Politik, one of the best songs of the modern age. Plus, with Scientist and Clocks you can't go wrong. Also, the new Album is sensational. No one can stop Coldplay!
