I would give this a five if it wasn't for 'quest for fire' and 'sun and steel'. This is as good as powerslave. The songs like 'Flight of Icarus' and revelations you may have heard before on live after death, but the rest of the album is awesome as well. Die with your boots on, still life, To tame a land are all good and if you don't care so much about the lyrics and just the music it definitely delivers. it's got the trooper on it as well, good album.

The classic Maiden line up is completed on this album with the arrival of Nicko Mcbrain, and he does a hell of a god job here. And so does the rest of the band of course. Opener Where Eagles Dare is the highlight of the album, but the rest of the songs are top class too. Highly recommended!

This is my fav Maiden album. That is saying something considering the ammount of top class albums they have released.
