The Cribs debut album is a real lift when you're in a sulky mood. Its raw different and meaningful to the mind. Every song seems to stick two hypothetical fingers up to people that don't understand or care.
The highlights of the album are banging tunes like 'Baby Don't Sweat' that reached 126 in the singles charts when released in 2003, 'You Were Always The One' (66, 2004) and 'What About Me' (75, 2004). But I guess it's like any other album in that you choose your own favourites that touch you, for me its 'Things You Should Be Knowing' and 'Another Number'.
It's not to everyone's taste and it's not the popular of bands never mind albums but there's something in every song you just need to listen hard and keep your mind open
