If you must own any album besides 'Blind' from this band then this is it! Start to finish it's a classic with it's hard rock, blues edged southern riffs and drumming that pounds a rythm into your soul, corrosion of conformity's definitive work. This album manages to blend softer tracks like '#2121313' with awesome powerful tracks such as the punchy 'Senor Limpio' and 'Shake Like You'. In conclusion, if you like your Rock then your cd collection will thank you for this addition!

If Black Sabbath hailed from the Southern States of the U.S around the early mid 90's, and were fronted by a uber talented delta-blues-poet named Pepper Keenan, then you would expect them to make an album like Deliverance.

Amongst the 14 songs, there are darker corners of metal / hard rock, but in a gist, it is quite unique in the face of "Heavy Metal". What I mean by that is, the soaring riffs and brilliant leads are all composed in a laid-back but gritty manner. Close your eyes and feel the freedom, the stark dry vastness in which the songs, thru a gravely voice - call out to the listener.

I think that is what makes this album truly timeless.
