Very consistent and very impressive album from electronical pioneer.
Fans of '80s alternative will love this - if you liked Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, The Cure, Joy Division, Killing Moon, Depeche Mode then there's a lot you will like here. But what you've got to remember is a lot of it you wouldn't have if it weren't for Gary Numan. Nine Inch Nails fans? Trent Reznor wouldn't have created any of NIN's albums had it not been for Numan.
This is Numan at his best: moody, gothic, heavy and tripped out. Done in his signature only-Numan-can-get-this-sound style. There is no sound like that of Numan at his best, some beautiful moments of moving bliss and some shattering moments of dirty darkness.
Superb and signature. Essential listening for fans of the DARK STUFF.
