A 'must' album for metal lovers, this cd is definitely amazing. Songs are all appreciable, both for sound and technicity.

This is the album that in the early ninties cemented Sepultura in their position as the heirs apparent to Slayer. Visceral and eclectic this is a different metal album. It's not a straight listen - it varies speed and intensity, using different sounds and samples, drawing on tribal rhythms and political viewpoints. Standout tracks are "Arise" which starts the album off at a vicious pace - also "Regnum Irae" an eerie, powerful hammerstroke of a song. An absolutely immense album. Much like their national football team - runs rings around the opposition. ole indeed.
