This is a decent album. I think you will have to like Country Rock to fully enjoy it but If you like country music plus maybe the likes of Springsteen, Mellencamp and Petty you should enjoy this. Decent cover of Springsteen's "Nebraska". Worth it for the money!

The best album if you want an introduction to Steve's work. Buy it!!!!

This album gives a good feel for the music of one of the best country rock singers of his generation. You will not believe the quality of the writing or the music. Steve can be political at times but this does not distract from the quality of his writing or the music he plays. I would rate Steve as highly as Alison Krauss, Mark Knopfler, Emy Lou Harris and Johnny Cash. If you like Country Rock you should try this album.
