Much as I've loved Buckcherry since the release of their classic debut album, cant help but feel this album is lacking a little bit of the edge and swagger that sets them apart from other similar bands.
Black Butterfly seemed to be taking the band in a slightly more mature direction whilst this album is more of a party record.
Also missing is a classic ballad such as "for the movies" or "sorry" with "I want you" being both hook and tune less.
Don't get me wrong there is enough quality to warrant a purchase the likes of "recovery" show that the edge is still there but not to the level of previous releases.
