These are the Beatles LIVE recordings at the BBC from
1962 - 1965, so do not expect DDD recordings! This in no way detracts from the contents. Here you have vintage Beatles at their best. There are tracks on here that you cannot hear anywhere else. You certainly get a flavour as to where the Beatles originally came from...Rock & Roll, Rythym and Blues with just a hint of country and of course, regular Beatles music. The first CD lasts 1 hour 05 mins contained in 34 tracks. The tracks are short, the longer ones being no more than 2.30 - 2.50 but this is normal for the 60's. Enjoy the occassional short, witty banter speech tracks between the plummy-voiced BBC interviewer, (so wonderfully typical of the period) and the Beatles... Enjoy, clearly the Beatles and the interviewer had great fun!. The second CD lasts 1 hour 8 mins on 35 tracks including the short speech tracks.
